The chain of AVIA petrol stations has started a cooperation with blinkee.city – a network of electric scooters and motor scooters.

Since Monday, 4th November 2019, in the streets of Lublin you can see electric scooters under the brand of AVIA and blinkee.city. This is an outcome of the cooperation that was started by UNIMOT S.A., the owner of the chain of AVIA petrol stations in Poland and Green Electricity Sp. z o.o., blinkee.city operator, which provides services of renting electric scooters and motor scooters in Poland and Europe. Lublin is the first Polish city where AVIA and blinkee.city will operate jointly.

Our cooperation includes two dimensions. One of them is engaging AVIA stations in the process of charging our electric scooters and motor scooters and the second one is a possibility of investing into our project by operators of individual AVIA stations, which operate as franchise ones, that is in the same business model which is offered by blinkee.city ” – says Mr Marcin Maliszewski – President of the Management Board of blinkee.city.

The first ones to take advantage of our cooperation  will be the citizens of Lublin, who will be covered by a special promotional action planned for the period of two first weeks of November. Within the action each person who will use an electric scooter with AVIA and blinkee.city logotypes will receive a special promotional coupon for a delicious coffee made in a Swiss coffee machine at the AVIA station in Lublin.

Lublin is just a beginning of our cooperation and at the same time a test site to check its business model” – says Mr Robert Nowek – Coordinator of the AVIA brand in Poland and Ukraine. ”Starting operations with the blinkee.city platform we are not only expanding our portfolio of services at AVIA stations, but we are also providing our franchise partners who create the AVIA chain with an opportunity to develop their business. This opportunity is becoming a double franchisee and joining the blinkee.city platform as an investor also on franchise basis” – adds Mr Nowek.
