PZL Defence, a UNIMOT Group company, is showcasing at the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce the technologies and solutions it is developing, including dual-use technologies. This year’s exhibition marks another stage in the UNIMOT Group’s consistent development of a new business segment based on technological and industrial capabilities and cooperation with partners.
PZL Defence’s solutions address needs related, among others, to unmanned systems, mobility, surveillance and reconnaissance, logistics, infrastructure protection, and operations in challenging conditions.
A new solution presented by PZL Defence at this year’s MSPO is the Velor D600, a long-range jet-powered unmanned strike system. The Velor D600 has a cruising speed of up to 500 km/h and an operational range of up to 600 km. The system has been designed for easy transportation and rapid deployment. It can be transported using standard means of transport, and its preparation does not require specialist tools.

The solutions presented in Kielce are the result of PZL Defence’s consistently developing technological capabilities. The company is gradually expanding its engineering team, which is reflected in its product portfolio, developing the infrastructure and capabilities required to design and implement new products, and building cooperation with Polish and international technology partners. A particular focus within this model is placed on dual-use technologies, which can be applied in areas such as security and critical infrastructure protection, public services, logistics, and civilian applications.
At its stand, PZL Defence is also presenting BERNI ONE, an observation and reconnaissance platform designed to operate in demanding conditions, as well as ROSA, an electric two-wheeler designed for enhanced mobility. The ROSA’s design enables it to operate in difficult terrain, provides system water resistance, and uses replaceable batteries, enhancing operational continuity and the vehicle’s potential for use in the field.
Another area being developed by PZL Defence is unmanned technologies. The company is showcasing FPV drones developed in cooperation with the Military Institute of Weapons Technology (WITU), as well as propulsion technologies designed for use in unmanned systems. In this way, PZL Defence is developing capabilities covering both complete platforms and their key components and technologies.
The portfolio presented at MSPO is complemented by BLUEWATER, a water filtration system designed for use in areas with limited access to safe water sources. The solution can support the operations of public services, infrastructure protection and logistics, as well as activities carried out during crises and in areas affected by natural disasters. The solution is primarily targeted at local governments, enabling them to ensure residents have continuous access to drinking water during emergencies.
UNIMOT Group leverages its industrial experience
The development of PZL Defence is part of the UNIMOT Group’s consistent business diversification and the creation of a new business segment. In doing so, the Group draws on its experience in developing and scaling businesses, managing complex projects, and organising logistics and industrial processes.
An important part of this foundation is also the expertise of PZL Sędziszów, which has extensive manufacturing experience, including in the automotive and defence industries. This provides access to expertise in production organisation, quality assurance, working with technical components, and developing products designed to operate in demanding conditions. Combining this experience with the technological capabilities being developed by PZL Defence provides a foundation for further development of new products and their future scaling.
PZL Defence has operated since July 2025 as a UNIMOT Group company developing dual-use technologies and solutions for the security sector. The company is building capabilities in areas including unmanned systems, mobility, surveillance and reconnaissance, propulsion technologies, logistics, and infrastructure protection. It is also preparing to develop production capabilities and undertaking the formal steps required to expand its activities into further areas. In this way, the UNIMOT Group is building a new business segment by combining its business and industrial experience with technological capabilities developed in cooperation with partners.
