Current Report No. 17/2025
Date: 08.08.2025 08:22
The Management Board of UNIMOT S.A. (the ‘Issuer’) with its registered office in Zawadzkie, hereby announces that, following the analysis and verification of preliminary, estimated selected financial data for the second quarter of 2025 ( ‘Preliminary Data’), it has decided to publish them as confidential information.
The Consolidated Preliminary Data for the second quarter of 2025 are as follows:
· Sales revenue: PLN 3.875 billion,
· EBITDA (i.e., earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation): PLN 74 million,
· Adjusted EBITDA (i.e., EBITDA adjusted for the estimated valuation of compulsory liquid and gaseous fuel reserves, justified shifts in costs and revenues, and non-recurring situations): PLN 107 million.
Comparable consolidated data for the second quarter of 2024 are as follows:
· Sales revenue: PLN 3.474 billion,
· EBITDA: PLN 92 million,
· Adjusted EBITDA: PLN 80 million.
The consolidated Adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter of 2025 was primarily driven by the following factors:
· The liquid fuels segment achieved an adjusted EBITDA of PLN 35 million in the second quarter of 2025. Despite the land premium, which has remained unchanged since 2024 limiting the possibility of achieving satisfactory margins, the UNIMOT Group generated good financial results in this segment. In a challenging market environment, the UNIMOT Group took steps to effectively capitalise on emerging market opportunities, which translated into a nearly 21% y/y increase in liquid fuel sales, which amounted to 626,000 cubic metres in Q2 2025,
· In the second quarter of 2025, the bitumen segment generated PLN 44 million in adjusted EBITDA. In the second and third quarters, this segment achieved maximum sales efficiency due to the peak season for road construction and repairs occurring during this period,
· The infrastructure and logistics segment generates stable financial results. In Q2 2025, Adjusted EBITDA amounted to PLN 25 million. This segment includes, among others, fuel storage and rail transport services.
The Preliminary Data presented has been prepared on the basis of preliminary financial data for the second quarter of 2025 available to the Issuer's Management Board. The estimates have been prepared to the best of the Management Board's knowledge as of the date of their preparation, but may differ from the final data to be published in the consolidated report for the first half of 2025.
