UNIMOT Group summarizes the first year of the Women’s Club “Woman with Energy” program

21.10.2025

The UNIMOT Group has summarized the first year of operation of the Women’s Club program “Woman with Energy”, which has become one of the pillars of the organization’s culture. On October 16, an annual meeting was held in Warsaw with the participation of more than 150 women from various companies within the Group. During the event, the Women’s Club Mentoring Program was officially launched, closing a year of intensive development work and experience sharing, while strengthening a network of female leaders in the demanding fuel and energy sector, often perceived as a male-dominated industry.

The program, initiated by Aneta Szczesna-Kowalska, Vice President of the Management Board for HR, is a natural extension of the collaborative culture fostered within the UNIMOT Group. It combines professional and personal development, supports diversity and equal opportunities, and strengthens the agency and visibility of women in strategic and operational projects. Over the past twelve months, seven webinars were delivered, addressing key areas such as assertiveness and business communication, counteracting harassment in public spaces (StandUP), stress management and work-life balance, personal branding and self-confidence, as well as life-stage perspectives in career and values planning. As a result, the initiative has consistently reinforced what has long been at the core of UNIMOT: partnership-based relationships and experience sharing that translate into measurable results.

“When I launched this initiative a year ago, I dreamed of creating a network of women with energy. Women who inspire, support one another, and have the courage to take action. Today, I can say with satisfaction that this goal is being achieved. The Club is no longer an HR project, but a thriving community where relationships, trust, and genuine cooperation are being built,” says Aneta Szczesna-Kowalska, Vice President of the Management Board at UNIMOT S.A.

Within the UNIMOT Group, women account for approximately 30 percent of the entire workforce, while in companies such as UNIMOT, UNIMOT Commodities, and the Shared Services Center, the share reaches 66 percent. Over the twelve months of the program’s operation, 24 women were promoted, representing 47 percent of all promotions within the Group. Key nominations included the promotion of Grażyna Pawlak to Vice President of the Management Board of UNIMOT Paliwa and Agnieszka Krysińska-Zając to President of the Management Board of the Shared Services Center, confirming the practical nature of the diversity policy and the real opening of leadership pathways.

“The Women’s Club proves that together we are building a community in which women have a real impact on our organizational culture. Women’s energy drives change in relationships, in decision-making, and in everyday cooperation,” emphasizes Adam Sikorski, President of the Management Board of UNIMOT S.A.

To further strengthen the network of female leaders and develop a culture of mutual support, the Women’s Club Mentoring Program has been launched. Mentors will include experienced managers, both women and men, from the UNIMOT Group. This initiative systemically connects the experience of leaders with the individual goals of participants, supporting their professional and personal development. The program strengthens agency and self-confidence, develops leadership, communication, and strategic competencies, and inspires the creation of an authentic leadership style. In practice, it is designed to serve as an internal talent accelerator by structuring the mentoring process, accelerating knowledge transfer, and reinforcing a culture of cooperation across the Group. Thanks to this initiative, the Women’s Club is entering a new phase of maturity, influence, and tangible change.

The year of the Club’s activity has shown that a well-designed development initiative translates directly into results. Leadership quality is improving, standards for talent development are becoming clearer, and knowledge is circulating more rapidly between companies within the Group.
