President of the Supervisory Board of UNIMOT S.A.  – Mr Adam Sikorski comments at the Economic Forum in Krynica the present situation on the fuel and energy market

During the XXVI Economic Forum in Krynica, the President of the Supervisory Board of UNIMOT S.A., Mr Adam Sikorski participated in the discussion panel “How to consolidate in order to develop?”.

The key statements of the interview given just after the panel:

„[…]I think that changes that have taken place in the energy sector, introduction of the energy package in particular, will encourage Polish entities to cooperation. Will it lead to consolidation which would be the natural order of events? I do not know this, but I have an impression that is the best period in recent years to make it happen[…]”

„[…]I think that the state played the role of an incentive which will cause that regulations that are coming into effect on 1 October will force quick actions. In reality a lot of entities will not be able to meet these new regulations imposed by the legislator, and what follows they will have to look for a place for themselves and consolidation with a bigger entities seems to be the best solution here.”

„ […]The fuel package that came into effect on 1 August is the first effective method to eliminate black economy […] Since August one can observe increased activeness of main players on the market. We can also notice it in our Company.
