UNIMOT appoints the former Orlen Gas president as a Management Board Member

Significant changes took place in the Management Board of UNIMOT on 25th July 2016. Mr Andrew Smith tendered his resignation from the post of the Management Board Member for personal reasons. Next, the Management Board appointed Mr Marcin Zawisza, the present Director of Development of UNIMOT S.A., to the post of the Company’s Management Board Member. Mr Zawisza will also act as the Vice-President of UNIMOT S.A.

– Marcin Zawisza is an expert who possesses tremendous experience in carrying out gas and fuel projects in biggest national concerns, among others, Orlen Gaz or Shell Polska – comments Mr Adam Sikorski, The President of the Supervisory Board of UNIMOT S.A. – We are very pleased with the cooperation with Mr Zawisza and that is why we decided to entrust him the post of the Vice-President of the Company. We hope that he will contribute to effective implementation of strategic goals of UNIMOT – adds Mr Sikorski.

Marcin Zawisza is a graduate of Szkoła Główna Handlowa and Wyższa Szkoła Bankowości i Ubezpieczeń. He also completed postgraduate studies in the scope of logistic management, and he obtained the MBA title at GFKM and Erasmus Rotterdam School of Business.  Marcin Zawisza  worked, among others for the Shell Group in the Chemical Segment and in the years 2004-10 for Shell Gas Polska Sp. z o.o. as a Regional Director of Supplies for Eastern Europe. Since 2010 he was responsible for the wholesale of refinery products of PKN Orlen S.A., first co-creating the Bureau of Analyses and Wholesale Strategy at GK. Then, since 2012, for over 3 years he held the post of the president of the board of Orlen Gaz Sp. z o.o., where he was responsible, among others, for creating and implementing the Group’s strategy in the area of the LPG market.
