Financial support intended for the transport of the Ukrainian refugees to Germany is the next form of support provided by the Unimot Group for Ukraine involved in intense fighting against the invader. In general, the Unimot Group supports Ukraine in terms of free of charge fuel deliveries. It should be noted that the value of the aid provided has already exceeded PLN 1.5 million.

This time, the Unimot Group committed itself in financing two transports of the Ukrainian refugees. The entire undertaking was organised by the German non-profit organisation known as Lift Ukraine, which has already provided safe transport for more than 900 Ukrainians (mainly women with children) since the outbreak of the war, with the participation of other companies and public institutions. In addition, Lift Ukraine provides accommodation in safe private homes and targeted support in registration of the Ukrainian refugees within the territory of Germany. As a result, refugees are fully covered by the German social system, as well as they obtain work permits and have access to the German education system.

The first transport financed by the Unimot Group, and at the same time the twentieth transport organised by Lift Ukraine, was carried out between 29th and 30th July 2022. The subsequent transport will be organised in early autumn.
