UNIMOT GAZ PAID THE DEPOSIT FOR VAT

UNIMOT GAZ S.A. paid the deposit securing payment of the goods and services tax, thus enhanced its business partners financial security.

On January 21, UNIMOT GAZ S.A., as one of the few companies from the liquefied gas trade and distribution sector, has paid a deposit of 400,000 zlotys . The deposit secures payment of the goods and services tax, due on supplying liquefied gas and other commodities, included in the Company’s offer. The deposit was paid in the favour of the Tax Office, and will be valid till  February 10, 2015.

Thanks to the deposit paid, buyers purchasing the goods from UNIMOT GAZ S.A. will be protected from possible Company’s failure to pay VAT. They will be exempted from the joint tax liability for the supplier’s VAT arrears, resulting from the recently implemented reverse charge procedure.

 „ This sort of action will definitely favour business relations with the Company’s clients”, Grażyna Pawlak,  director of UNIMOT GAZ S.A. Commercial Department, said. „ It will also result in enhancing buyers’ financial security and an increase of confidence, our current and potential trade partners have in us”.

Having the deposit paid, places UNIMOT GAZ S.A. on a white-list of trusted traders, published in Public Information Bulletin of the Ministry of Finance. The list is available on the website of the Ministry of Finance.
