The Supervisory Board of UNIMOT GAZ S.A. appointed a new Chairman of the Company Board of Directors, Przemysław Podgórski, until now a member of the Board of Directors of UNIMOT GAZ S.A., who replaced the former Chairman, Bogusław Satława.
On Monday, 25th August the Supervisory Board of UNIMOT GAZ S.A. appointed Mr. Przemysław Podgórski Chairman of the Board of Directors. Until now Mr. Podgórski held the office of a Board member in the Company. At the same time the Supervisory Board recalled the former Chairman, Mr. Bogusław Satława, who held the office from July 2013.
– The Supervisory Board made a responsible decision – explains Adam Sikorski, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UNIMOT GAZ S.A. – Mr. Bogusław Satława is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of PZL Sędziszów S.A. (a company belonging to Unimot Express Capital Group), where currently important business projects are being developed, which involves a significant increase in his duties. On the other hand, a person managing UNIMOT GAZ S.A. has to face new serious challenges resulting from the intensification of the Company’s activities in the natural gas sector. Mr. Przemysław Podgórski has wide experience in the gas market, he knows this market from many different perspectives. Moreover, he has been working for UNIMOT GAZ S.A. since the Company was established, he has supervised many projects, therefore, I am convinced that with support of the new Board members he will excellently lead the Company in its expansion into new markets – adds Adam Sikorski.
The new Chairman of the Board of Directors is a graduate of Częstochowa University of Technology. Since the year 2000 he has been working for UNIMOT Group, where he was responsible inter alia for the Logistics Department, asset management and risk management. In the years 2007 – 2012 he held the position of the Logistics Director and Member of the Board of Directors of Unimot Express Sp. z o.o. In 2012 he was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PZL-Sędziszów S.A. Filters Factory – a company belonging to UNIMOT Group. Since 2012 until now he held the position of a Board Member of UNIMOT GAZ S.A. Since 2011 he has been a member of the Council of the Polish Liquefied Petroleum Gas Chamber.
– The Supervisory Board has given a lot of trust to me – says Przemysław Podgórski. – I realize how big my responsibility is and I hope that both the new Board Members and all employees of UNIMOT GAZ S.A. will support me in my efforts aimed first of all at increasing the Company goodwill and competitive edge. Considering the fact that the Board has been joined by people with valuable professional competencies – experts of financial and fuel markets, I deeply believe in success of our plans and use of the vast potential of our Company.
The Board of Directors of UNIMOT GAS S.A. was joined by: Małgorzata Garncarek, Financial Director of the Company and Robert Brzozowski, Trading Director of the Company.
Małgorzata Garncarek graduated from Cracow University of Econmics. She has been working for UNIMOT Group since 2004, initially as a Controlling Officer, then the Manager of Finance and Administration Department, and at present as Unimot Express Sp. z o.o. Financial Director. In 2012 she was appointed Member of the Supervisory Board of PZL-Sędziszów S.A. Filters Factory – a company belonging to UNIMOT Group. Since 2012 Małgorzata Garncarek has held the position of UNIMOT GAZ S.A. Financial Director and Capital Market and Stock Exchange Specialist.
Robert Brzozowski graduated from the University of Gdańsk. In the years 2000-03 he was a Trading and Marketing Director of ORLEN Morena Sp. z o.o. and in the years 2004-05 – Trading Director of LOTOS Marine. Robert Brzozowski has been working for UNIMOT Group since 2008, being involved in international fuel trade. Since 2014 he has been responsible for the diesel oil project in UNIMOT GAZ S.A. At present, as the Company Trading Director he will also supervise natural gas trading.
