Nafta-Chemia is an annual conference of the PTWP Group and the editors of Nowy Przemysł, dedicated to problems and challenges of the industry, which gathers leading representatives of the oil and chemical industry, experts and politicians. The XI edition of the event organized under the motto: “Time of Innovations”, was held on 9 December 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw. The subject matter of the Conference included the most important issues for the fuel and chemical industry.

Robert Brzozowski, the Presudent of UNIMOT S.A., took part in the session devoted to the issue of black economy in the oil industry. President  Brzozowski pointed out that black economy does not affect only refineries, independent fuel importers are also a victim here. – We have to prove every day that we comply with all the regulations. We waste a lot of time and energy doing this. It is not easy to prove that not all importers are bad. We have to educate our clients – says Robert Brzozowski.

The discussion also included such topics as: current law regulations (joint responsibility and import concessions), coordinating the actions of control officers and bodies as well as other actions planned for the year 2016, which may help to eliminate black economy.

The invited speakers included, among others: Adam Jaros – Wholesale Trade Director at PKN ORLEN S.A., Halina Pupacz – President of the Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels, Maciej Szozda – Production and Trade Director at Grupa Lotos S.A. and Leszek Wieciech – General Director of Polish Organization of Oil Industry and Trade.
