UNIMOT publishes estimated results for 3rd quarter of 2017

The UNIMOT company estimates that the unit net profit in the 3rd quarter of the current year will amount PLN 11.2 mln and will be by 4% higher than the result for the 3rd quarter of 2016, revenues from sales in turn will reach PLN 759 mln, that is higher by 14% than previous year.

Preliminary unit data of UNIMOT demonstrate that in the 3^rd quarter of the current year the Company will work out PLN 11.2 mln of profit. The Company estimates that the revenues from sales will reach PLN 759 mln, and EBITDA will reach the value of PLN 15.5 mln. As a result, after nine months of operations the value of UNIMOT’s revenues will amount PLN 142 mln, that is it will be higher by 42% than the value acquired in the corresponding period of 2016.

– Preliminary, unit financial results indicate that the 3rd quarter was very successful for UNIMOT S.A. The achieved revenues from sales are higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year, despite a very dynamic situation on the fuel market. In July and August in the diesel oil segment UNIMOT operated in the environment of relatively high margins on this product. In September in turn, margins on wholesale of diesel oil remained at a relatively low level, which did not favour growth of sales volumes – explains Mr Robert Brzozowski, the President of the Management Board of UNIMOT S.A. – However, the Company made an efficient use of growing prices of LPG in Poland, achieved better results both with respect to volume and value of sales as well as net profit from this product. Also revenues achieved from sales of bio-fuels met our expectations – adds President Brzozowski.

It is worth stressing that in the 3rd quarter UNIMOT S.A. was successfully implementing its strategic goals. In the discussed period the Company opened 4 new fuel stations under the Avia brand and signed franchise agreements with station owners. Also the number of partner stations that offer the Tankuj24 service has grown and presently includes 85 stations. Tankuj24 is a mobile application used to compare and purchase fuels online.
